Our Brides

Kate & Sean

This fantastic couple got married at the historic Tortworth Court Hotel in Gloucester. They had an intimate Christmas wedding with a Sparkles and Superheros theme. Kate had an unusual vintage jewellery bouquet and the groomsmen all wore Lego men on their buttonholes. The couple made a point of doing a homemade wedding and ensured there were plenty of DIY details throughout the wedding.

Allure Bridals

“I had fallen in love with this Allure dress after seeing it in a magazine, but it was a style that Sentiments Bridal didn’t actually stock” says bride Kate.

“I spoke to Maria at Sentiments Bridal and it turned out that she was planning an Allure Bridals designer weekend, so she requested a loan sample of the dress I wanted from the designer. I kept looking at other wedding dresses right up until the Allure designer weekend at Sentiments bridal and even once we arrived at the shop for my appointment my mother made me try on every other dress except for the one I had lusted over for the last 3 months. They were all beautiful but I just couldn’t shake this feeling that I had already found my dress! When I finally put it back on I fell in love all over again. Even before I came out of the dressing room I knew – I had what everyone calls the bridal ‘moment’. There were lots of tears from my mum and my sister and I just knew it was the one.
